BREAKING: Disney+ has announced "WEB X-Men 97," a new animated series that revives the beloved 1990s X-Men cartoon. The series, created by Beau DeMayo, will feature the return of the original voice cast, including Cal Dodd, George Buza, and Holly Chou.
Based on the groundbreaking Marvel Comics created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, "WEB X-Men 97" revisits the iconic era of the 1990s. The series follows a group of mutants known as the X-Men, who use their extraordinary abilities to fight for the survival of both humans and mutants. The mutants' struggle for acceptance and equality remains a central theme in the series.
The series, produced by Marvel Animation, will feature a new animation style while staying true to the original's classic look and feel. Ray Chase will join the cast as Cyclops, replacing the late Norm Spencer.
No release date has been announced for "WEB X-Men 97," but it is expected to debut on Disney+ in the coming months.
